The Hootie Tooties are a collective of long-standing friends and established musicians who came together to experiment with harmonies and creative lyrics in 2025.
The Hootie Tooties launched into the music industry upon being selected to perform at one of Australia's largest music festivals, Woodford Folk Festival 2025. To perform at such a high-profile festival ignited immense inspiration for the band, and from September 2025 to January 2026 the band had achieved the following:* Self-produced, designed and printed (100x) an original seven-track “demo” CD.* Booked, marketed and performed their first headline shows, including a four show tour from Victoria to Queensland.* Performed at two festivals; Woodford Folk Festival and Soundtracks Music Festival.* Selected for two more festivals for 2026; Harfest in Warrnambool, Victoria, and St Albans Folk Festival, New South Wales.* Headline Artist for the Jailhouse Concert Series at the Kew Court House, Victoria (in April 2026).* Self-funded the production of four singles in preparation for their debut album with Brian Cachia at BCMuse studios, Queensland. One of their singles entitled "Join The Family" features multi-award winning composer and screenwriter Michael Lira on piano.The Hootie Tooties is made up of four performers dedicated to spreading joy and laughter and entertaining crowds with their theatrics, high energy and explosive instrumentals. They plan to delight their audiences and to inspire them with uplifting and hilarious storytelling throughout their songs, all while performing intricate four part harmonies.
